Hello! My Name is Charlotte, I have recently started a new role as a Paraplanner with Andrew Hughes Wealth Management and have previously worked as a Paraplanner at The Platt Parnership in Mold and before that I worked as a trainee financial adviser at an IFA in Ellesmere Port. I have 5 years experience in the industry and am diploma qualified. This is the first time I have worked as the only Paraplanner so wanted to join this network fr support and offer it too where I can!

If you've just joined the Big Tent please take a minute to say hello and introduce yourself. Simply add a comment below, you might like to include what sort of paraplanner you are, where you work & what you're interested in. Favourite chocolate bar is always a good start.
Good Morning All! Hope you're cosy today in this freezing weather
I have eight years' experience in the financial industry as a fund selector/investment analyst and this year I want to change my career and break into paraplanning. I recently became a CFA charterholder which I hope will give me a head start as I progress to achieve my diploma this year
So happy to have found this resource and looking forward to lots of future discussions with you all!
Hi all. I've recently joined Argonaut Paraplanning (outsourced). I've worked in this field for about 15 years now. About 5 years as an administrator, then about 10 years in paraplanning roles. I moved to Devon in 2018. In my spare time I brew my own beer (all grain), and I've recently joined an inclusive football team, in my middle age, and after decades out of the game.
Hello!
My name is Jo. I’ve been a Paraplanner for 7 years, following 4 years as an administrator. My favourite technical area is definitely tax-efficient planning—whether it’s minimising Income Tax, Inheritance Tax… you name it! I also really enjoy the compliance and operational side of the business. I’m always on the lookout for best (and efficient!) practice.
On a personal note, I’m a mum to two cheeky boys who keep me on my toes—so as you can imagine, there’s not much spare time left for anything else!
And finally, favourite chocolate bar? Definitely the little Kinder bars!
Hi all
I joined years ago but forgot to introduce myself.
I've been in financial services since 2008 (what a time to start a career!). Been paraplanning since 2011. Been a freelancer, working for outsourced companies, but have been employed by a small WM firm since 2017. This seems like a great site. I look forward to reading some of the posts and participating in the discussion.
Favourite chololate? Got to be a box of After Eights - gone within the hour.

Hi @CAMPritchard & welcome. You'll find lots of support here.
Paraplanner. F1, Apple, Nutella, ice cream. No trite motivational quotes. Turning a bit northern.
Bonjour tout le monde
