Hi @MariaEvans24 if you haven't seen it yet, you might find this useful to join.
-
Hi @CAMPritchard & welcome. You'll find lots of support here.
-
There are several Online Assemblies on CRPs in the archive. Just go to the Resources are of the website
-
@amarshall outsourced paraplanning firms can help with this (cough cough). We do a lot of this with our adviser clients.
-
@Wildparaplanner here's the link to the assembly: https://paraplannersassembly.co.uk/event/paraplanning-in-an-age-of-ai/

We always quote all the costs inc transaction fees. If you have FE, the MiFID tool pulls them all through.
-
FYI. We're recording a bite sized video on this shortly.
-
Hi @SamGibson We've prepared a guide to help advice firms with this. You can read it and download the supporting documents here.

Thanks @les_cameron

@Richard have a look at this WE built the guide based on things we'd been asked by compliance teams.
-
When we used Word we had the functions you mention (and more) built by Melanie at https://www.expertofficedocuments.co.uk/ She's fantastic and that could be a good option for you as it's more customisable than an off the shelf option.
-
Hi @Chris1 have a look at the Paraplanner Directory.
-
@Nath are you using a tool to work out the IRR? If so, which one? I get a slightly different return <5%.
-
Hi @JAMcKay have a look at https://paraplannerdirectory.com/#/
-
@JenniferA sure thing.
-
@Calvert76 have a look at this blog post. There's a link to the new snippet collection with downloadable graphics and a Word training video.

Les Cameron from Prudential / M&G saw this and emailed me some thoughts.... They need to investigate - the scheme is wound up so the money is no longer in the scheme and what they have is not a one member OPS. What happened on wind up: …
-
Thanks. I'd go with 1, 2 always and 4 in rare cases but normal DIM not.
-
Thanks @benjaminfabi can you expand on 4. Depends?
-
Thanks everyone. @Clare_Weight that's a great part of FE - we don't have the dates though :-(

@richardgough said: Assignment to a Co - is this a chargeable event - I'm going back and fore in my head on this - one Les Cameron at Pru? I spoke with Les about this yesterday and he thinks it is an assignment for moneys worth (cavea…

Looks like it could be a double bad whammy. 💩 💩
-
Isn't it an assignment for money or monies worth and so a chargeable event on transfer?
-
Thanks @Nath
