Hi @JPow95 welcome to the Powwow. The events we put on will help you with training, make sure you have signed up to Powwow Post on the front page to hear about them first. Everyone on here is happy to share so if you have any questions just ask.

Meaningful Money is a very good one I listen too. Powwow will be starting it's monthly webinars on 22 Feb. Details will be out soon.

The 3 simple ones I'd suggest looking at are: * cashcalc * Moneyscope (vested interest klaxon) * Lifecash (if you have an iPad) Planlab is a good half way house between those 3 and Voyant/Truth.

Morning and welcome to the outsourced side of things :-) 1. Yes, ours are worded so that we don't fall within IR35 because, well, we don't! 2. No 3. It's complicated, DM me. Speak to an accountant about IR35 before you do anything. Having a nice …

Thanks @Jona and @Suse1969

Hi @Rebecca_Tuck We're still reading the page - welcome

Alan, not sure where you are but may be able to help point you in the right direction for experience etc. Approaching a firm to offer your time in return for some training & experience would go down very well on a CV for me. You may also want …

Happy Christmas everyone

Thanks @timblowers

Both Peter. Also issue like minimum/maximum not being correct for some products etc. We only use them now for very high level filtering and then do our own research.
-
My natural instinct is with you @benjaminfabi but then I look at this... Income Tax and Personal Allowance.
-
We've had defaqto and now have synaptic and found errors in both.
-
Huge pain in the arse, especially for those of us in the Cult of Apple. Lack of investment or lack of foresight. Either way it's annoying.
-
We use 7IM a lot. Not traditional passive portfolios but a good alternative.
-
I like the idea of real platform feedback from paraplanners. This is something Powwow is well set up for. Will give it some thought and come back to you all.
-
FREE TVAS KLAXON!

I'm meeting Aegon shortly to talk about continuing their support for the Powwow and I know they will be very interested in this feedback. This is exactly what Powwow is about - coming together to fix things that don't work as we'd like. I'll bring…

It might be pay to play in which case it's not so useful.
-
Thanks @JoCHague & @benjaminfabi

This is an interesting thread for me as it's got me asking 'why are they doing that?' I think I might use Selectapension in a different way to you. So, why do you enter funds? * is it to get fund performance info? * Is it to filter out potential…

Thanks @Jamie_Barnes

Tried that @DanAtkinsonUK but Exchange didn't want to play. Can specify SA, M or A premium but no SP option.
-
Thanks @DanAtkinsonUK will check that out. Thanks for the postcard too BTW
-
Looking forward to it @Phil_Berry
-
WE use CATS and so do several of our clients and they are very good. Speak to Mel.

If you're coming to the Powwow check your inbox for the Wagons Roll email or click here.
-
Powwow sold out this morning but we've managed to stretch the teepees and have 10 more tickets available.
-
2 as the SIPP fixed fee is being paid anyway.
-
Looks good. I'm going.

We use FE but have used MS too. MS has possibly a slightly better dataset (no dreaded 'other' category in asset allocation) and better eye candy but it's very clunky to use.
