I'd say there is nothing wrong with ringing round a few firms, I think more would be open to it than you'd think. Perhaps utilise Linkedin and try to attend some of the IFA conferences (could even limit yourself to just the free ones) and try to net…

Hi Nostromo I am not intelligent by any means and have achieved FPFS, definitely do able!
-
I passed all three in a month or so, was in exam mode at the time so happy to share any tips if needed
-
I dont think it would hurt to politely call a few firms in your area and introduce yourself.
-
Cheers @richardgough

This position has now been filled.

Is Royal London Passive @Andy_Schleider ?
-
I would think you could do AF5 and any other AF exam at once, then the AF8 coursework whilst you await exam results
-
I think as a paraplanner improving on your technical knowledge and gaining level six would be a better use of time and money. Have not seen any employer or IFA look for a PP attaining ' the standard' I think other things will make you more valuable.

Don't want to state the obvious, but intrigued to hear the answer myself... why would the residency for tax status differ to anybody else who was abroad? I thought she would be subject to residents test like an adult working abroad? https://ww…

Hi Meghan, I bought BrandFT for AF5 and read it the morning of the exam and managed to pass (skin of my teeth i may add) More of a reflection of their training materials than my intelligence!
-
Im not sure if this is what you are referring to, but you can use the FSAVC benefits to provide the TFC, in order to preserve as much of the guaranteed benefits as possible
-
Separate point but clients can often get these exits fees waived if pushed hard enough
-
Ok thank you @Jona will do!
