UK pension accepting overseas pension transfer?

Hi all,

We have a client who is going through a divorce and as part of the settlement is receiving a PSO from their spouse's Shell Overseas Contributory Pension Fund. The headache is that the SOCPF does not allow shadow members, and it's not a QROPS/ROPS but is registered in Bermuda.

Has anyone come across any pensions in the UK that would consider an overseas pension transfer in that isn't on the QROPS/ROPS list?

    Hi - AJ Bell and Transact are normally more flexible on these kinds of cases if you are able to explain the source of monies.
