Yes, me.

I'm looking into this right now. CII are not going to accept my adviser with level 4 IFS but IFS will accept it the other way round if he takes one of the CII exams within the IFS route. He found that he was only being given 50 credits for his IFS l…

Got the link from the Pru. It's about two-thirds of the way down. Corporate Investing Masterclass. http://www.pruadviser.co.uk/content/knowledge/oracle_live/#

Pru have a webex on this, but of course it's highly directed to their products. I've actually asked for a copy of it as I'm doing something similar and it's a while since I watched it. Will post a link if it covers alternatives.

Ben, you're ace. :-)
-
Big fan.

We use Standard Life Wrap for non property SIPPs Richard. We have a dedicated contact etc and found that they've been excellent for setting up and taking benefits and all round pretty good. Because the big insurer kicks in, tax relief timing isn't a…

Merry Christmas all - sentiment is the same - it's lovely to share. Particularly looking forward to finishing today until the 4th of January. 2016 was a tough year but so much to look forward to for 2017 that feet up is definitely on the cards for t…

Old Mutual Wealth also offer a TVAS service.
-
Ditto to Ben. We issue an options report before going near recommendations so that the client understands what their DB is actually all about and that's issued with the TVAS. Then recommendations come with a cash flow. Lengthy process, but absolutel…

Thanks @DanAtkinsonUK. I've been quite anti standard text but we're getting bigger and need a controlled method of ensuring consistency without compromising the personal side (which is so important isn't it!).
-
We're looking at them too Carly and was quite impressed with the presentation. Dan, are the templates updated quickly post legislative/tax updates?
-
My go to is Standard LIfe's techzone but I like to read Scottish Widows for the application of the tech as their case studies tend to be quite good.
-
Big thanks for pointing me in the direction of Expert Pensions Ben. They were really helpful and we've actually signed up for a corporate package.
-
We had a problem with a client not being able to verify identity with the online system. Gareth James sent me this link https://www.signin.service.gov.uk/start Don't yet know if it works (client hasn't tried it yet), but he's going to request HMRC p…

I did like the thought of the forum Ben. It's why I find the Big Tent so helpful. Thanking you.
-
I had a look at what they offered - which route did you take Richard/Ben? The Study Plan? Workshops are no good for me but the Notes Plan seems similar to Brand, so thinking the middle one might be most useful.
-
Hi Peter, we work 3,3,2 at present and it seems to work well. We also work with a couple of admin/senior admin in ad hoc roles though.
-
Thanks to those who've fed back to me. We use Plum Software and whilst impressed with the improvements they're making post Praemium, we've a bigger plan in the mix and want to make sure that we've covered every angle when looking at our back offic…

Just goes to show how complicated they make things that it's hidden away. Thank you.

Oh wow - you've even further than me to travel. I'm going from Dundee. Email me if you decide and your plans take you down the A9 or via train and we can perhaps meet up. I'm still in the planning/deciding stage. susanp@hlfs.co.uk

Thanks for this Peter. I'll have a look at your suggestions.
-
Anyone from Scotland intending to travel down? Looking at options and best route etc before booking.
-
With the above - online. We don't get many AXA events up our way - will see if I can contact the names you guys have mentioned.
-
Old Mutual Wealth's Roddy Munro is very good.
-
I'm all for that.
-
Do you highlight the CY Ben? Apologies if I've skewed the conversation at the start re immediate benefits; yes TVAS always done, but is the question about CY or the TVAS requirement? Nathan?
-
Thanks for that Dan. I'll pass it on.
-
It's a difficult one because we don't need to do a TVAS with immediate vesting but I do exactly the same and run one, but I don't document it in the report. But I will do a cash flow analysis that shows a more meaningful outcome. The TVAS really do…

Ben, we've switched between the two over the years depending on what we like with them. O&M is what we use just now but kept the Selectapension TVAS system because we prefer that (well, when I say prefer....). There's so much scope within O&am…
