You're right they do. Thank you!

I wouldn't waste your time with reading the book and I would definitely go with Brand over Redmill. Also, before you get the case analysis just go through all the past papers and just try and memorise the answers, there isn't much else you can do…

No 15th November, I believe the AF exams are 6th Dec.

I'm actually not feeling too bad about it, the course I went on definitely helped I think. Just hope questions around trusts are kept to a minimum haha. I definitely think for those types of questions you would need to put some generic answers do…

What is the pass mark for this exam? I've had a look online and I've read 55% and 65%!

Having had a chance to look at both analysis I would say Brand is definitely the better of the two. The answers are similar to the ones in the past papers were as with Redmill they go into far too much detail on some of the answers and from looking …

Hi Gem, The redmill analysis is very in depth, they have really covered a lot of ground. So much so I'm wondering how I'm going to remember it all in just two weeks. I also prefer the way they have structured it compared to Brand. But lots of …

I've bought the redmill analysis. Very in depth, according to them it's one the hardest case studies they've seen. Typical!!

I'm doing this in October, was thinking of doing R04 just before but now I'm thinking I should just concentrate on this as it may be a bit too much. So how is everyone approaching this? Not sure how long I should study for and how I should struct…

Found them. Thank you

I would say the Brand questions are closer to what you will get in the exam (based on my experience of sitting LP2, R01 & R05), although I like to base my revision around the revisionmate questions as it's a good way to see what areas you need t…

So far I've passed LP2, R01 & R05 first time. What's worked for me is buying the notes from Redmill, reading them them twice then doing the question packs on revision mate and practice papers from Brand. I then go through the questions I got wro…

Well I passed thank god. I definitely recommend Redmill, I only used the CII textbook as reference when doing past papers and checking the questions I got wrong. I think if I relied on that it would have been a different story.

Thanks I did know about the child ISAs but I have no idea what I was putting in the calculator then as I get the same figure as you now, brain must have been fried last night haha.

So I thought I would just give an update, I've been using the notes from redmill, and then doing the questions on there and using wizard learning. I have not even touched the textbook and I have passed the CII past paper and been passing on both sit…

Thanks for the response and thanks for the link, that's excellent!! I have decided to read the book, going to do 20 pages a day then will move on to the Aviva notes. Is the information that changes just the changes to tax etc? So most of the inf…
