Thanks for this @richallum and Ascentric! Ok, so that's all in line with the long hand calculation we've been doing for a little while now and also clears up the fact that we still need to calculate whether the Personal Allowance is reduced separ…

Transact offers fixed rate accounts, so you could potentially hold some cash in the Transact cash account and then one or two holdings in a fixed deposit on platform. I believe the £85,000 limit would apply per account, as long as the ultimate depos…

Wow can't believe we're nearly at another weekend! Glad to hear the transition seems a bit easier for some this week. I've got my fingers crossed for some 'garden weather' this weekend as I have to admit that being in the house all the time is st…

@Clairebear512 I'm near Kelso now - how far out of Perth are you? Frightened Rabbit is a great call! Sorry to give you an ear worm but AKON Lonely comes to mind...

I think I dealt with one of these a while ago, Tim, and Zurich wasn't very forthcoming with the information then either. I believe in that case it was treated as an offshore bond BUT the premiums were paid by the client themselves not their employer…

Thanks Alex! The Pru resources are really good these days. I hadn't thought about Cash Calc so thanks for that - I'll need to have a look to see what's there. Alyson

I sat AF4 and AF5 at the same time in October last year and I agree with Tom. It's a lot of hard work and you really need to plan out your study time but for me it was worth it because it got me the credits I needed for Chartered status that little…
