Hi
I am looking to sit AF4 in October and was looking for some suggestions on study material to use? I have my old R02 & J10 CII books, but that is a combined page number of around 450 pages and was hoping for something a little more .. to the point.
For most of my recent exams, I have used a variety of study material, AF5 was expert pensions, AF3 was BrandFT.

Expert Pensions also do AF4 but no experience of how successful it was as our team haven't used it. (AF1 and AF3 so far with good results and great feedback)
+1 for expert pensions overall (though as per @Suse1969 not used them for AF4 specifically)
Are you a CII member? If so they have all the current study year text books available online - https://www.cii.co.uk/learning/support/cii-study-texts/
Not the easiest format to use, but pretty handy!
The Expert Pensions AF4 is touted as the best study aid in the marketplace currently. I have no idea whether this is the case, but Michael Pashley (who has recently moved on from EP) still rates it.
I will be using them when I get through AF7 and I'm hoping there is more meat in the study text than the book provided by the CII
