Consolidating shares

A client of ours would like to consolidate their share certificates to get an idea of their total estate value and to also benefit from easier administration, consolidated tax vouchers e.t.c.
We will obviously not be advising on the individual shares and will only be recommending a product to consolidate them on.
The clients don't care about shareholder perks/getting regular statements and basically any of the benefits of holding them directly, so have no problems putting into a nominee account.
Has anyone had any experience of finding a suitable provider to consolidate share certificates on and how did you narrow down your search?

A D2C platform nominee account is the way to go with that I'd say. You'll be able to find a load of research at the Lang Cat - they produced this free guide last year which will give you a load of info about what's out there. https://www.langcatfinancial.co.uk/product/come-and-have-a-go-2018/
