Dedicated support from Aegon for outsourced paraplanners

After meeting many outsourced paraplanners at Powwow events and listening to your feedback, the Aegon team thought there was a simple thing we could do to help freelance and outsourced paraplanners – set up a dedicated point of contact to deal with your specific platform related questions. The team who answer the questions understand outsourced and freelance paraplanning businesses and the additional challenges you face when working with platform providers.

Some examples of how we can help are providing due diligence information, supporting platform selection and access to platform across multiple adviser firms, as well as ‘How do I?’ questions.

In-house paraplanners continue to have full support from the Aegon Platform Implementation team, both from aligned account support and also the Platform link on the Paraplanner zone.

That's all well and good, but after what Aegon has done to the Cofunds platform and all the headaches I've had and continue to have with its functionality and reliability, Aegon has lost all credibility for me.

@Theresa_Dixon Thanks, but its been nearly a year and its just been too much. As much as you might want to try and fix things, I am completely exhausted of dealing with issues. Had another pop up today on a GIA to ISA for instance. Even basic things like registering me as user failed many times and many people at aegon have tried to fix that without success, seems my email address caused a glitch in the matrix. I'm sorry, its just well past the point at which Aegon can redeem themselves in my mind.

I've had problems with Cofunds and other platforms too but, as an outsourced type, just want to thank Theresa and the team for setting up this address to help us out. It'll make day to day queries a lot easier and is great recognition of the outsourced world.

Just used this again and it works very well. Contacted by a specialist protection person and no FCA number asked for. Followed up with useful email.
