Long term Care

Has anybody done or on route to specialising in long term care? It's something I have been interested in and trying to find out the best route.
Any suggestions?

Yes. I specialise in long term care, supporting two SOLLA accredited advisers.
I have my CF8 exam, as well as my diploma and learnt a lot from one of the advisers (I work most closely with her). Where are you starting out from? Are you working with any advisers who are specialising in the field?
Experience with different cases, and preparing reports has helped me immensely.
It'll be useful to also look at trusts in more detail, as I find a lot of my clients tend to also be life tenants of trusts. Additionally, the advisers I work with deal a lot with personal injury cases also (another form of long term care that people don't often think about - most people tend to think of the elderly).
And equity release. I'm now studying for my ER1 exam. The advisers I support don't do them terribly often, but I do feel my knowledge needs to be improved upon in order to support them better.
Hi, I’m currently an administrator just starting exams. I work with 4 different advisors. Most complicated being one that does mainly trust work but nobody does long term care.
