Paraplanner Performance Review

Does anyone undertake regular performance reviews for team members (paraplanners, trainee/jnr paraplanners, support staff).

Would anyone be willing to share what KPIs they use or other metrics employed at review.

I am trying to put something in place here that we can all pay more than lip service to.

I remember hearing Brett Davidson talk about the value of engaging staff and to be effective within the business they need to:
- Get it (understand what the firm is doing for clients and trying to achieve)
- Want it (believes in the company and wants to be part of it)
- Do it (has the skill set for the role)

This feels like a pretty good place to start to me; but how do you measure whether members demonstrate these traits?

  • Hi Jona. Yes and this is something I'm currently looking to put in place shortly. Happy to have a chat to discuss as got a few ideas but always good to share.
