R02 - J10

Hello,

I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience of taking R02 and then studying for J10 straight after? I have heard that the exams contain a lot of similar content.

Thanks in advance,
Luis

I'd say that's a good fit, especially as they are both multiple choice.

If you have an employer willing to fund it, or can yourself, I'd also do J12 (also MC) at the same time, as J10 and J12 have a lot of crossover. With that done, then get AF4 under your belt in April and become an investment NINJA!

That's 60 diploma and 30 advanced diploma credits for the same syllabus, plus 2 FCA specified T&C handbook qualifications (Stock broking and DFM). If I was starting now, I'd definitely approach it like this.

  • Thanks for your reply and sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

Appreciate the advice, i have just passed R02, so think i will try and get onto my company about getting signed up for J10. What was the step up like from R02 and J10 to AF4...can you remember?

    Thanks again,
    Luis
