R04 - Aviva Academy sufficient to pass exam?

Hi all,

R04 is next on my hit list and due to my short attention span I've passed exams purely using consolidated learning (e.g. Redmill).
I took note of the Aviva Academy's offerings and that have an 8 part study for R04 - has one had any experience using solely Aviva's teachings? or is it still worth opting for something like Redmill?

The Aviva notes are pretty good, I use them before I read the chapter in the textbook - however I find that the book gives better depth to the content and I'd be hesitant to do the exam without reading the book a couple of times.

Head over to Fidelity FundsNetwork's technical pension page - there are a series of videos presented by Neil Dickey that cover every one of the syllabus' learning outcomes. He certainly knows his stuff - he co-authored part of the AF7 textbook for pension transfers and he explains things really well.

The Aviva notes are good but do not go into enough detail. You will definitely need to read the book.
