There's lots of really useful sites out there for technical research. I've got quite a few and would like to see what everyone else uses in case I have missed one.
My 'goto' is Standard Life Techzone. Really good for most things.
Barnett Waddingham is good for OPS.
Techlink - we subscribe but I find it hard to get on with.

Paraplanner. F1, Apple, Nutella, ice cream. No trite motivational quotes. Turning a bit northern.

I find that it gets the balance right in giving you enough technical information in a readable way. Unlike Pruadviser, which is good but very difficult to read and get what you need easily.

Gov.uk is also good for tax and pension things; it explains it plain English too, which is quite refreshing!

We recently started subscribing to TechLink and I love it. Has gotten me out of a few pickles!

I agree Standard Life is also the go to tech site. Scottish Widows have some decent stuff as well:

James Hay tech team is also very good if you use them.
I agree with previous comments and with Richard's assessment of Techlink - difficult to find what you're looking for but they will answer specific questions posted. For me:
HMRC
Standard Life Techzone
Scottish Widows
All links above.
Also the PFS knowledge base can be useful as can the Study texts if you have access.
If anyone still uses books (!) John Woolley's Financial Planning with Trusts 2015-16 (www.claritaxbooks.com) is a bible.
