Reduction in Yield - Pension Transfer
When you are doing a pension transfer, do you still include reduction in yield in the research file, both for before and after advisor charges. Appreciate thoughts on this, thank you.

For me it is case dependent. I usually show the difference in the RIY between the existing and proposed solution and then if it is more expensive, I'll show the additional return generated by the portfolio being recommended.
And whenever I do it I use "solution" costs i.e. everything except the advice charges, and then "total" costs i.e. including the advice charges.
