Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to connect with anyone who has experience, or knows someone with experience working as a freelance paraplanner for UK advisers while travelling or living abroad. I’m trying to understand how viable this setup is in terms of compliance, communication, and day‑to‑day workflow, and whether advisers are generally comfortable with it.

Hey, I have been an outsourced Paraplanner for 7 years now and mainly paraplanned for True Potential advisers. I moved abroad last summer and my access to the platform was restricted. They have been tightening their policies and do not want advisers, paraplanners or admin staff working outside of the UK.
I still have a couple of non-TP advisers I work with using a VPN and they are quite happy with that. I think it is depends on the companies, but it is definitely doable.
