Paraplanner Role - Hybrid / London / Battle

Path Financial, an award-winning IFA that specialises in ethical, green and positive impact investment strategies, are seeking a dynamic and passionate paraplanner to join their highly motivated team.

You will have a minimum of 1 years’ paraplanning experience in a high production environment, be able to demonstrate adaptability, enjoy the challenges of the role and wish to cement your expertise in a modern, agile company that is driven by purpose. Ideally you will have or are actively working towards your level 4 qualification.

The Role

You will be providing paraplanner support to our advisers and dealing directly with clients.

Typical Duties

· Assist our financial advisers in preparing and implementing financial plans for clients

· Conduct research and analysis on pension, investment options and insurance policies

· Write recommendation reports and presentations for client meetings

· Undertake client communication and follow-up (phone, email, face-to-face)

· Lead qualification – undertaking outbound calls to qualify prospect clients who have contacted us, arranging and confirming meetings with the financial planners (No cold calling. Training will be provided)

· Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices

Key required skills

· Understanding of the financial planning process

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Detail-driven and precise

· Detailed & articulate communicator – written & verbal

· Experience of writing suitability reports

· Experience of cashflow report interpretation and preparation

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Good IT skills – including excel & word

· Strong organisational skills – being able to multitask and prioritise work effectively

Desirable Skills

· Solid technical knowledge

· An appetite for advancing in the role, such as becoming level 4 qualified, becoming a senior paraplanner, or potentially moving into advice

· Experience working with Voyant, FE Analytics, Salesforce

· Platform experience, particularly Transact and Aviva

All training on our software, templates and providers will be provided.
