Replacement lifetime allowance protection certificate

Anyone know the process to go through for getting a copy of an old Fixed Protection certificate; the client has lost it!

  • We managed to get HMRC to reissue a Primary Protection certificate, but it was tricky getting through to the correct team on the phone. Number for pension scheme services is 0300 123 1079, but doesn't always work. You might have to try the main PAYE number and ask to be put through.

    Good luck!

Thanks Dan. I'll give that a go.

I've been trying to get in touch with HMRC today about a missing certificate and they appear to have switched their phones off. Once you get through the lenghty list of options they just say they're too busy and the call is terminated. Charming!
