Client Administrator

Job Purpose:
As a Client Administrator at Frazer James, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Financial Planner and Paraplanner. You will ensure that clients’ financial plans are administered correctly while maintaining exceptional standards.

About Frazer James:
Frazer James is an award-winning, independent financial advisory firm located in Bristol. Our team consists of two Chartered Financial Advisers and Certified Financial Planners.

We offer comprehensive financial planning services to approximately 90 client families, using advanced cash flow modelling software to engage clients in the planning process before considering financial products.

Since being established in 2019, we have experienced organic growth and currently manage around £50 million of client assets. Due to this growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a senior and experienced administrator to join our team.

Role Responsibilities:
* Answer incoming calls and take messages when required.
* Handle incoming post and process provider paperwork efficiently.
* Obtain and review policy information from financial providers.
* Obtain quotes and prepare new business applications accurately.
* Submit new business applications and set up new accounts.
* Work proficiently with our key investment platforms.
* Update the back-office system and record new business information.
* Proactively manage the financial planners' diary and workload.
* Prepare client documentation before and after client meetings.
* Take meeting notes and summarise client information effectively.

Essential Requirements:
* Based in the United Kingdom
* Previous experience working from home / in a remote role
* At least three years of experience in an administrative role within a financial advisory or related sector.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools.
* A positive attitude with a willingness to contribute and adapt as needed.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to plan effectively.
* Self-motivation and a proactive approach to personal learning and development.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Alignment with our values of honesty, collaboration, and accountability.

Desirable Requirements:
* Proximity to the Bristol area.
* Relevant formal qualifications (e.g., CII Level 3 Award in Financial Administration).
* Strong academic background with a university degree.

What We Offer:
*A competitive salary ranging from £26,000 to £30,000, commensurate with experience.
