EJS is a small IFA based in High Wycombe. We have three experienced advisers, with a great support team, and we all share an extraordinary ability to make a difference to the finances of our clients in the medium and long term. Our clients come first and are at the centre of everything we do, every client is unique and has their own individual long-term requirements, so we take the time to work with our clients to understand their situations personally.
We are looking for an experienced paraplanner to join our team.
MAIN TASKS OF THE ROLE
• Technical support for advisers, including but not limited to, product and investment research for both individual and corporate clients, letter writing, quotations and any other assistance needed.
• Prepare and produce client reports and ongoing suitability letters
• Take ownership and develop the EJS research and due diligence program, ensuring it is robust, compliant and in line with the EJS investment ethos.
• Other project work as/when necessary.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the overall business objectives of the company.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
The successful candidate will be organised, forward thinking and enjoy a challenge, and have a good sense of humour. They will have excellent attention to detail and IT skills with a self-motivated enthusiasm to develop and learn. They will have the ability to work autonomously where appropriate and be a team player. A key characteristic will be a positive “can-do” attitude and the capabilities to deliver desired results successfully.
We are a flexible company and can offer some home working for the right candidate as well as on going study support.
Desirable experience and qualifications include:
• Diploma Qualified
• working in a report writing / paraplanner role in one or more IFA firms
Salary £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
