My freelancer is leaving for pastures new, so a part-time employed opportunity has arisen with the company.
The Role
The role will involve preparation and maintenance of client files, research and preparation of recommendations as well as ongoing reviews, in line with company policy. It may also involve interaction with our clients.
You will be required to:
• Undertake product and investment research
• Liaise with product providers and third parties to acquire information
• Use analytical software to review clients’ existing plans
• Obtain illustrations
• Update model portfolios on investment platforms
• Prepare clear, technically accurate and compliant suitability reports
• Prepare client reviews
• Prepare and maintain detailed compliant client files and records within agreed CRM system
• Record any client communication (written, oral or electronic)
The Candidate
• You will have at least 2 years’ experience in financial services, ideally within an IFA environment
• Ideally have a background in pensions and investments
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
• The ability to source, analyse, and summarise information
• Knowledge and experience with financial services software (Selectapension, Cashcalc, FE Analytics, etc) would be a distinct advantage, but not essential as full training will be given
• Be meticulous and analytical, with a high attention to detail
The Terms
• This is a part-time role, between 20-24 hours per week - flexible on days/hours.
• Salary £30k FTE (pro-rated for part time hours)
• 22 days holiday, increasing in line with length of service
• You will be automatically enrolled in a pension scheme, however if you prefer, arrangements can instead be made to contribute to a pre-existing pension plan via salary sacrifice
Due to the nature of some of the work that we do, this is an office-based role.
Haven Paraplanning are based in Tunbridge Wells, just over a mile away from a railway station, and on a main bus route. Although there is no designated parking, there is a free car park nearby, or on-street parking, which is also free.
