Location: Cardiff
Salary: Up to £23,000 depending on experience/qualifications

Brief description of role and responsibilities:

The role includes the accurate processing of New Business applications through to and including investing monies, regular platform checks and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for Negative checks and rebalance across platforms, including management information.
Professional Support are required to assist the Financial Planners, Paraplanners and the business in general via the processing of administrative tasks, updating cashflows and suitability letters. It is imperative that these administrative tasks are carried out in a timely manner to a high standard.

The following list is not exhaustive and liable to change.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Send Letters of Authority and Change of Servicing Letters to Providers
• Set up Policy items on the back-office system
• Chase providers for policy information
• Checking policy information once received, uploading to back office system & and pass to relevant Planner

New Business processing:
• Checking all applications are fully completed, dated and signed.
• Adding information to database along with fees and commissions.
• Processing applications to Providers/Lenders and Solicitors.
• Acknowledging business to clients.
• Dealing with any queries from clients and /or Providers and Financial Planners.
• Follow up business to completion.
• Acknowledge completion of business to clients

Paraplanning Support:
• Daily wrap platform checks, investing monies through submission of peer review
• Daily platform pick-up page checks
• Monthly negative cash checks
• Quarterly rebalance project twice yearly
• Aggregated Fees and charges to be prepared for annual review meetings
• Annual Strategy Cashflows to be updated & cashflow notes to be provided to the planner
• Compilation of new cashflows
• WAY Review letters
• Suitability letters within knowledge and experience

Assisting in the Security of the Office(s):
• Ensuring all windows, blinds and shutters are closed each night before the office is closed.
• Ensuring all lights are off, alarm set and front door locked (3 locks)

Miscellaneous:
• Attend Weekly Team Meetings and quarterly Open Forum meetings for the Professional Support Team

Qualifications:
Ideally working towards Level 4 Diploma or aspirations to work towards. You would be expected to have GCSE Grades A-C in Mathematics and English, and have excellent IT and Keyboard skills, be accurate, a good communicator and possess an excellent telephone manner.
