Paraplanner role at fast growing firm advising Trans-Atlantic individuals
Tanager Wealth Management LLP are looking for the next paraplanner to join our team in Central London. Does this describe you?
• At least 2 years’ experience in a paraplanning / technical role
• Level 4 diploma or close to it and aiming higher
• You love cashflow modelling
• Excellent collaborator and clear communicator
• Adaptable, flexible, measured, calm
• Willingness to step in and help out where needed
• Good Word and Excel skills, IT - confident and quick learner of new and multiple software tools
• Ability to multi-task and have several cases and jobs on the go
• Have passion for financial planning and a genuine desire to add value to our client’s financial lives as well colleagues’ working experience
• Understand the regulatory framework, ethics and principles of the advice process
• Have integrity and a good moral compass and desire to adhere to ethical principles
• Have broader experience to other parts of a financial planning business – for example account opening / administration / client services / investment management / trading
• Not afraid of working through multi layered complex technical issues
• You like research and analysis
• Willing to go on a steep learning curve
• Take pride in delivering excellent service both to internal stakeholders (advisers) and external (clients) and look for ways to enhance the client experience
• Ability to write technical reports written succinctly in plain English
• Have some cross border / international experience
• Geek out on detail
• Think out of the box and a desire to look more broadly to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
• Good at building relationships with other people – internally and externally
• Enjoy being part of a multi-cultural team
• Comfortable working with clients who have busy lives and complex situations with empathy for their situation
