Dutch funds for UK investors

Our IC is looking at some funds which are regulated in the Netherlands using a FGR structure. Have any of you come across them?
What (if any) investor protection do uk investors get (I assume none)?
How does the regulator compare to FCA/CBI?
Anything else we should know about the structure - it’s really great if you are Dutch from what I see & seems to be UCITS.

Hi Dan
I've asked my contact if they know anything about this. They told me that the Dutch regulator is very strict (similar to the FCA). Also, if the fund is a UCITS fund, you should be safe as these are regulated at EU level and distributed across EU on the licence of a single authorisation.
Sorry I can't be more help
Thanks for this. That is really helpful insight. I really appreciate you picking the brains of your friend.
