Hi all

Not sure if you have come across this, but the UK Structured Products Association has got really clear explanations (with simple graphics) of the many types of Structured Product. Each one even has a nifty video talking you through it slowly and clearly.

If you go to http://www.ukspassociation.co.uk/product-codes/ and look at the structure you are interested in, the vids are on the right and the explanation etc runs down the page.

Nice - thanks. Can I ask which platform people are using to hold structured products?

We tend to go direct and hold them as a 'plan' because otherwise you are paying a platform charge for little reason (unless you can get better terms through a 'note'). When we have used a platform it has been investcentre

Cheers Dan. I see your point about the extra wrapper charge but the administrative nightmare of multiple plans with varying maturities etc is always a pain!
