RO1 - Giving Supervised Advice

I used to work for SJP and I am sure I read somewhere that you could pass RO1 and give advice if it was supervised. I can't remember if that was a special SJP deal or was the case for everyone. I cant find anything online to back up my recollection. In fact what I have found online suggests that you need all 6 of the RO exams. Anyone know for definite?

Thanks Andy. The link doesnt work but I presume its the same document I found from the PFS. The document is from 2011 so pre RDR, and also references the FSA so not sure that its still relevant.

Ultimately whether that min is enough is at the firm's discretion. In my experience, it's likely they would want to you to be more qualified but firms may make exceptions for people who have, for example, had a career break as long as your work demonstrates you have the knowledge necessary and you are likely to pass the rest of the exams in a reasonable time frame.
