Just to stir this one up again.............. how do you describe/explain to people what your firm does and what you do?

If you're outsourced, you can briefly explain what an adviser does (comes to see you, finds out what you have, what you want to achieve, then comes back with research, analysis, report, cashflow). You tell them that you do all that.
Even more briefly, advisers do all the talking, and you do all the real work!!
