The applicability of ratios etc.

Although the use of the above is prety much mandated I have a concern that it leads into a complacent "driving by the rear view mirror", the availability of current data with sufficient detail is difficult with individual stocks, unit trust and OEIC information is likely to be, what, three months out of date and as for with-profs, even the DTI didn't see Equitable Life coming so what chance an IFA?
