Time tracking software

Hi,

Been using Harvest for going on 9 years. They've been acquired recently. Result: my c$150 annual cost is forecast (because of feature based pricing) to be increasing by 2,960% to $4,440. They're offering a first year discount of 86%, reducing that increase to a mere 314%.

So for anyone using time tracking software that isn't Harvest (shortly to be, I imagine, everyone!) what are you using and how do you find it?

Blimey! That's a big hike. Toggl - we haven't tested its full capabilities but perhaps worth looking at as an alternative.

  • Update to this for those who are, or will be, in a similar boat:

I'm currently trialling Clockify and it seems decent. I will trial Toggl next. I've also seen Everhour, which looks great but has a minimum 5 seat pricing so would be a bad fit price wise for me but maybe not for larger teams.

    Hi Ben,
I use the free version of TMetric but that's more for personal curiosity than it being a requirement of our business. I think we ought to be using something companywide. Whether that would be TMetric or something else, I can't say.
I've no idea what their pricing options are but I'd be staggered if they're as bad as what you're being "offered" by Harvest!
