Life cover shortfall calculators

Does anyone have any good life cover shortfall calculators that they use? We have looked at a few provider offerings and they seem to be 1) Tailored to the products that they offer or 2) overly simplistic. Ideally I would like something that is sophisticated enough to be able to cope with things like increased child care costs etc. I appreciate that a good cashflow should enable us to pin this down but I dont want to be doing a full cashflow for every transactional mortgage client.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi Krosser. To be honest, I think a cashflow is the way to go where you kill the client off in year 1 is the way to go. It doesn't need to be especially complex.
