Death and dying

One of my spinning plates is to resource our people as they talk to client families about to go through the above. I'd love to know what you are doing?
- Do you have a process guide (terrible phrase)? I have used https://www.gov.uk/when-someone-dies
- Do you have a 'how to find my important things' type of document?
- Do you have books that you recommend or gift to the client families? Whilst I really like what Royal London have done I wonder if something independent or not from financial services would be better https://www.royallondon.com/about-us/how-we-are-run/mutuality/how-to-die-well/

Hi Dan,
Thanks for flagging up the Royal London work, it looks really good. Age UK have a free 'Lifebook' where you can record all of the information your relatives might need after your death. https://www.ageuk.org.uk/information-advice/money-legal/end-of-life-planning/lifebook/
Useful for recording all the smaller things that are often forgotten.
We run a webinar with these people - quite good I thought it sounded but not looked into it further

Thanks both. These look like good resources to have a more detailed look at. The organisation you flagged, Les, looks like they have some really helpful neutral resources on both the practicalities and emotional side.

Do you mean from a financial perspective @DanAtkinsonUK? or from a more general perspective? Dying Matters might have something useful if it's learning to open up and talk about death and dying. They have an awareness week coming up too.
