Senior Admin / Paraplanner role - Based in County Durham

The role involves providing administrative support to the office and a team of advisers.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing client recommendation reports for financial planners based upon financial planners’ advice.
Preparing client annual review reports including drawdown.
Conduct necessary research, analysis, and illustrations.
To work within agreed timescales and quality standards.
To provide effective technical and administrative support to advisers.
Preparing and submitting new business applications.

The ideal person

Good team player, adaptable, organised and excellent eye for detail.
Previous experience as a report writer or paraplanner or technical administration and report writing with strong knowledge of pension and investments.
Knowledge of protection would be advantageous.
Knowledge of research software such as Defaqto, Cashcalc, SelectaPension, FE.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate attention to detail.
Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative within a busy office.
Minimum 2 years experience in a technical role within an IFA office.
