CFA Certificate in ESG Investing

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone is studying or thinking about studying this. It looks really interesting but hard to tell how relevant to paraplanners it is. I tried asking the CFA and the response I had was that they didn't know what a paraplannner was!!
Work won't support me for it so I'd have to pay for it myself, hence a little extra due diligence!

This looks really good - I would definitely be interested. Im studying towards chartered at the moment and have some exams left to do but if you do look into it more I would be keen to hear your thoughts

I'm in the same boat as you @LCongdon , studying towards chartered but this looks really interesting and definitely a timely qualification to study and have in the toolbox.
I would also but self-funding but I think as a personal interest point I'll likely go ahead with this once I have finished IMC level 2.
I am also in theory working towards Chartered but my priority was to get Pension Transfer Specialist which is done now, and I need a change of scene for a minute! I think it would be valuable to get in early on this subject. Glad you guys think it looks good, helps me, am seriously considering.
I've just pinged an email to a young chap who's "just been doing some CFA studying" - which I noted in our most recent ICM Minutes, I'll ping him an email over and see what he says... I imagine it might be a little on the dull side but if ESG is your thing (which I think it is for most at the moment anyway) then can't help sticking another tool in the kit, hey @lauroyle
- I'll let you know what he comes back with anyway..

Thanks @Charplan sounds good. It's definitely an interest of mine but 130 hours recommended study is a lot!

I've done that one, just waiting for results. It was really interesting but only at the pure impact end of spectrum and think there's more to learn about!
