Advanced Diploma

Hi all! Passed R06 from October and now have my diploma! Want to get started straight away with my Advanced Diploma. Does anyone have any advise as to which course to start with? Can you do any units side by side as they are similar?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated!!

Congratulations Sarah. The trick for the advanced diploma is pairing AF and J0. The AF textbooks assume diploma level knowledge and then apply it. However there are some that don’t have an R0 equivalent (the business planning one for example). Pairing gives the knowledge refresh as well as the AF approach. Also more points gathered in one sitting for one topic area studied so you can get to fellow quicker too!

If you have quite wide practical knowledge you could start with AF5 as it’s similar to the R06 you just passed. That’s what I did / was talked into doing. Brand etc do the same support materials that you may have used too

I think I am going to do AF8 and J05 together. I seen someone say that you need a good cash flow modeller and asset allocation tool for this. Anyone recommend the best ones to use?
