Hi Sam,
I saw your comment and wanted to get in touch (hope you don't mind).
I'm looking into freelance work myself, I really don't want to go down the Ltd Co. route yet but I wondered what is actually needed.
Do you have a freelance agreement that you get signed and agreed?
Do you tend to look for short term contracts?
Do you need to register with ICO for data purposes?
Have you been contacting IFA firms yo see if you can help?
I'm in a bit of a quandary at the moment, I got Chartered/fellow last year and I've had several PP jobs and still enjoy it but the culture where I am st present is making my interest dwindle. I'm based in Devon and haven't got to far ahead of myself in terms of going freelance but wondered about all the steps (above) before exploring further.
I guess a freelance agreement would need to be done by a solicitor too.
Any help appreciated.

Can anyone please help me? I receive a Barclays UKRF Pension monthly in USD into an account in Mexico. Due to the fact that Mexico are using pesos much more these days (when I first came here USD were used more commonly) I requested the UKRF to pay me in Mexican pesos (I am losing so much being paid in USD) and they said they were not able, which to me is very strange. My Social Security is paid in Mx pesos!
Any assistance would be much appreciated!May 2023 -
